Scalabrini Villa Health Care Center is proud of the loyalty and quality of its staff. Most of our personnel have been with us for at least five years; many for ten years or more.

Staff members are committed to supporting the self-worth and dignity of each resident. It is this love and dedication which guides and directs the superb care we give our residents whom we treat as our own mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Above all they are our friends, and our staff is taught to see themselves in each one. Our motto is: "If I live long enough to grow old and feeble, this is how it could be for me"!
 
The Administrator, who oversees the total operation of Scalabrini Villa is ultimately responsible to you and to health officials of the State and Federal Governments for providing and ensuring high quality, personalized, professional service. We believe that part of our service is availability. If you have any special needs or questions, the administrator will gladly assist you, as will the Departments which make the Villa "special".

Our Nursing Department assures our residents of total professional nursing care under the guidance of our medical director and medical team. Nurses and certified nursing assistants take pride in their work as they not only provide medical assistance to our residents, but also help with dressing, hygiene and other personal needs.
 
Our Admissions/Social Service Department.
Our Admissions/Social Service Department provides counseling for residents and their families about admission to the Villa and emotional adjustment to the new life, and is usually the first source of information about our programs. This office helps answer question s about living in the Center, as well as making adjustments to returning to the public community if possible.

Our Activity and Hospitality Departments.
Our Activity and Hospitality Departments organize programs which provide our residents with entertainment as well as new learning skills, rehabilitation and self-expression, in a social atmosphere of companionship with the other residents and the community at large.

Our Food Service Department.
Our Food Service Department operates under the guidance of consultants from Johnson & Wales Culinary School. The department works with residents and family members to plan appetizing meals while meeting the medical needs of each resident. Our dietary staff wants family members and friends to feel at home with us. You are always welcome to share a meal with your loved ones when you visit.

Our Environmental and Maintenance Departments.
Our Environmental and Maintenance Departments oversee the cleanliness and good working order of the Villa. They are here to serve you and our residents, and they do it with love and dedication.

Our Business Office.
Our Business Office is available to answer your questions about billing, resident personal accounts and Government and private health insurance plans., This office will assist you by answering financial questions pertaining to your loved ones.
